Many householders want to use cheaper and more reliable power.
The Energy Storage System (ESS) gives you the freedom to store your free solar energy or even store off-peak electricity for times when it’s more expensive to use.
The daily consumption of an average Australian home is around 20kWh of energy per day. A typical residential ESS can manage and store up to the same amount. ESSs are also modular – so creating a storage system for larger properties and businesses simply requires additional 20kWh energy storage modules that can be easily added. Three systems together produce 15kW/60kWh’s, 3 phase storage.
The energy produced by the PV module is used to optimize self-consumption; the surplus energy will be used to recharge the batteries.
When the batteries are fully charged and ESS already meets your self-consumption requirements, the surplus energy will be fed into the public grid.
Once the sun sets, ESS will automatically switch to battery-stored energy. If the battery capacity or power is insufficient to meet your consumption requirements, the electricity will then be obtained from the public grid
